high fidelity

i just got back from easy street, my favourite record shop, where i spent too much money & came home with cd's, dvd's AND a magazine. it's like a drug. (i'm like this in bookstores too. it's dangerous.)
anyway, i got the decemberists new one, marvin gaye 'let's get it on' & say anything. (that last one for 5 bucks. mainly because of one song i like.) how's that for variety in music taste. & i got the new citizen cope. who, by the way, i got to see in concert at the showbox sunday night, (thanks to my friend simon,) & absolutely loved. he rocked, & so did alice smith, who opened for him. it was a great concert.
i think i could get used to this whole living-in-seattle thing.
